Abstract
Transmits conclusions on the Kosovo crisis and statement on Bulgaria and Romania, both issued by the Council of the European Union, 26 Apr. 1999. On the Kosovo crisis, the Council expresses strong support for maximum pressure from the international community on the Yugoslavian regime, reaffirms its commitment to relieving the fate of refugees and internally displaced persons, and considers the regional implications of the crisis. The Council also welcomes the efforts and initiatives undertaken by Bulgaria and Romania to contribute to a political solution of the crisis.
