Reports that provisional Japanese translation of Security Council resolution 1267 (1999) concerning Afghanistan was published in the Official Gazette, and with reference to para. 4 (a) the Government has decided not to grant permission to those aircraft designated by the Security Council Committee established pursuant to the resolution to operate flights to Japan, and with reference to para. 4 (b) the Government has not taken any measures due to the fact that the Security Council Committee has not designated any funds or financial resources to be frozen in accordance with that para. of the resolution.
