Transmits letter of 10 June 2000 from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq; states its objections to the fact that United States and the United Kingdom have placed holds on contracts for civilian goods and medicines concluded by the Iraqi authorities with overseas companies under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding of 20 May 1996, in spite of Iraq having satisfied conditions established by the Secretariat in accordance with relevant Security Council resolutions.
