Letter dated 6 July 1999 from the Permanent Representative of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council
Refers to the Secretary-General's report (S/1999/726) submitted pursuant to para. 16 of Security Council resolution 883 (1993) and para. 8 of resolution 1192 (1998) and states that the Security Council is obliged, according to its decision, to lift the sanctions imposed on the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya upon the receipt of the aforementioned report.
