Refers to Security Council resolution 2231 (2015) and letter dated 20 Aug. 2020 from the United States (S/2020/815) concerning the "snapback" mechanism; informs that, pending clarification by the Council as to whether or not the terminations in para. 7 (a) of the resolution continue in effect, the Secretariat stands ready to provide the required support at the direction of and in coordination with the Security Council.
