Information concerning the imposition of U.S. sanctions against Iran and Iranian economic sectors, entities and individuals through a series of executive orders, laws and regulations in recent decades, and specifically the negative impact of these sanctions on the enjoyment of the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment in the Islamic Republic of Iran and elsewhere, and on other rights that are harmed by the sanctions’ erosion of this right, especially the right to health and the right to life.
