U.S.-imposed economic sanctions on Iran in the Covid-19 crisis from the human rights perspective

The decades-long economic sanctions regime has had a severe, detrimental public health impact, and led to poor health outcomes among Iranians. It is time to take action to lift these oppressive sanctions or to help shape the structure and application of economic sanctions to ensure they protect the health of the persons that are subject to them.
