The heads of state or government of the movement of non-aligned countries1, met under the chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Nnicolás Maduro, president of the Bolivarian republic of Venezuela, in the margarita island on the 17th and the 18th of September 2016 to address existing, new and emerging issues of collective concern and interest of the non-aligned movement. in this regard, they reaffirmed and underscored the movement’s abiding faith in and strong commitment to its founding principles2, ideals and purposes, particularly in establishing a peaceful and prosperous world and a just and equitable world order as well as to the purposes and principles enshrined in the united nations charter.
