Letter dated 4 May 2001 from the Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations addressed to the President of the Security Council

Transmits response of the Government of Uganda to the report of the UN Expert Panel on the Illegal Exploitation of Natural Resources and Other Forms of Wealth in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (S/2001/357); states that the report suffers from a number of fundamental flows and rejects allegations contained therein; urges the Security Council to remain committed by supporting the Lusaka Peace Agreement.
