The aim of this document is to sketch out ideas towards a potential reformulation of that policy. These ideas are intended to start a much-needed discussion of how to fix the U.S.'s Venezuela policy so that it helps put the country on the road to re-democratization and protects vulnerable Venezuelans from the collateral effects of the political crisis.
