David Cortright is the Director of Policy Studies at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame and Chair of the Board of the Fourth Freedom Forum. He has published several books and written extensively about nonviolent social change, nuclear disarmament and multilateral sanctions. In this interview with ODVV, Prof. Cortright shared his views about the withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA and the human cost of the U.S. sanctions on Iran.
