Vijay Prashad is a widely-published Indian author, historian and journalist. He is the Director of Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research and the chief editor of LeftWord Books. In an interview with Organization for Defending Victims of Violence, Prof. Prashad responded to some questions about the historical roots and contemporary representations of American unilateralism, the US government's use of unilateral coercive measures and the role of international organizations in upholding multilateralism.
