Transmits statement made by the President on behalf of the Council, 3417th meeting, 12 Aug. 1994, in connection with the item entitled "The situation in Angola". Decides to defer temporarily the imposition of the additional measures against UNITA as referred in resolution S/RES/932 (1994), confirms its readiness to impose further measures if UNITA does not accept the mediation proposals on the national reconciliation during the course of the month of Aug. 1994, and states that it will start to compile a list of such possible measures and will not tolerate further procrastination in the peace process.
