This thesis has made an attempt to provide an answer to the question do smart sanctions mitigate the negative impact on the human rights of collectivities and individuals by examining the different parts of smart sanctions and by investigating the impact of smart sanctions on the human rights not only of collectivities or individuals, but for both.
