Abstract
Nowadays, economic sanctions become more and more important as a means of balance among major powers in international political games. As an important role in the world economic structure, the impact of EU’s economic sanctions is particularly. The main legal basis for EU’s economic sanctions is the UN Resolutions and decisions of the Council of the European Union in the field of CFSP according to Article 29 of Treaty on European Union. Member State legislation which provides penalties for violations of EU sanctions and exemptions for sanctions under special circumstances is very important for EU sanction system. In addition, the judicial remedy system of the European Court of Justice and the courts of member states also impose many restrictions on the sanctions resolution of the Council of the European Union.
